BREAKING NEWS ｜ AUS F4 and Ferrari Driver Academy

Formula 4 Australian Championship, Motorsport Australia and Top Speed Sports Events are pleased to announce that the top 5 in the Championship of Formula 4 Australian after Round 3 in Queensland will have automatic selection to take part in the Ferrari Driver Academy selection camp at Sepang International Circuit, 17 -19 September. 

Taking part in the Series can help cement a place to test in front of the Ferrari Driver Academy scouts, where racers can compete for a place in the Ferrari Driver Academy Finals in Italy later this year.

The re-launch of Formula 4 in Australian also gives young drivers a way to compete and contest in an FIA-certified open wheel category in Australia, with four rounds in the country and a season finale also at Sepang International Circuit, a Category 1 former Formula 1 track. This also allows racers the chance to earn FIA super license points, 12 for the winner, and have an even easier way to transition to competition overseas in a most cost-effective manner, with the same Tatuus F4 T421 GEN2 used internationally. Amongst the teams who have already expressed interest and will be racing in the Series include AGI Sport, Arise Racing, Ambition GP, Team BRM and Tim Macrow Racing/M2 Competition.

The Ferrari Drivers Academy recently saw graduate Oliver Bearman move through the FIA ladder, from the academy and F4, to F3, F2 and to with Ferrari at the Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia, March 9.
