We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of the Australian Formula 4 Championship, a premier open-wheel racing series that has been a stepping stone for many of Australia's top racing talents. After a brief hiatus, we are back with a new F4 cars, more excitement, more speed and more adrenaline-pumping action.
The Australian Formula 4 Championship has always been a platform for young drivers to showcase their skills and make their mark in the world of motorsport. It's a place where raw talent meets the thrill of high-speed racing, where every turn is a test of nerve and every straight a burst of sheer power.
In this relaunch, we are committed to maintaining the high standards of competition that the championship is known for, while also introducing new elements to enhance the racing experience for teams, drivers and fans. We have updated our racing calendar, introduced new tracks, add international experience and, mostly, introduced the new Tatuus GEN2 car to ensure a F4 car faster and safer than ever.

Thursday or Friday Pre-event testing: up to 120 mins

Saturday Race 1: 25 mins +1 lap

Single seater expert Matthijs Hoitink brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to FMCS. Based in Asia for almost a decade, Hoitink has been involved in managing various successful single seater championships such as Formula BMW Asia, Formula V6 Asia, Formula 2.0 and Formula Pilota China Series. He also brings with him experience garnered from his previous position as team manager for Petronas Mofaz Racing as well as managing the Petronas Formula Xperience program.Matthijs has a Bachelors degree in automotive engineering as well as an MBA from Nottingham University.As series manager, Hoitink is responsible for team and driver liaison and communication as well as the overall implementation of the regulations and general management of the entire series.

Technical Director Allan Bae is from Korea and majored in Automotive Engineering at the University of Ulsan (Korea). Bae has studied in Japan and worked in many technical functions in motorsport. This, combined with his sheer passion for automotive engineering and hands-on experience, has given him an in-depth understanding of almost any system on any car.Bae has been involved with the concept creation and development of the FMCS car in cooperation with VW Motorsport, which makes him the most knowledgeable individual about the FMCS car in the paddock. As Technical Director, Bae is responsible for the ongoing development of the FMCS car as well as to assist the teams on any technical matters.
