Circuit Information
Sepang International Circuit (SIC) was built in February 1998 and officially inaugurated to the public on 9 March 1999 by the former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. It was completed in a record 14 months and with the recognition of its multifaceted facilities, it was given the honour to incorporate the F1 logo in its name from 1999 to 2017.
